Laying surfaces
Centrury Stone can be applied directly to rough, untreated walls, over any type of mortar, on properly anchored scratch coats and on wallboard. On other types of surfaces (wood, metal, etc.), metal laths (or other suitable material) must first be mounted. When the wall which is to bear the stone is treated or painted, it must first be sand-blasted or have metal laths attached before applying the
bonding agent.

Manpower and maintenance
Laying the stones does not require skilled labour. One of the advantages of our product is that anyone with a basic aptitude for D.I.Y. can install any amount in his free time without requiring the help of specialized workmen. The above-listed installation time refers to a professional workman. The majority of installations do not require maintenance. Outdoor installations in dirty or dusty environments should occasionally be washed with water.

Limits of use
Does not make the wall on which it is applied more robust. Chlorine and other chemical products can discolour stone, therefore it is not advisable to use it in swimming pools either as lane dividers or for edges. Do not use in areas where there is running water or sludge containing salt or other chemical substances used to melt snow or ice.
